OMG this thing killed me.
The final assignment of my Cartooning and Charicature class--draw and color a 12-14 panel 'silent' comic based on a well-known fairy-tale that you've re-invented. I originally wanted to do a story about Snow White being a crack addict and going through rehab in a dwarf clinic with Doc's six mental patients, but that was too complex to convey in the paramaters of the assignment. Then a fellow classmate, stuck on ideas, said he wanted to do a story on 'The Ugly Duckling', and instantly this concept popped into my head. A little refining, and I turned this in. I've already gotten a critique to see what I could improve--for instance, perhaps 2 more panels, as well as a bit more dynamic shots--nearly every one of my panels is rather 'staged'. Obnoxious watermark because this is one of the more polished works I've done in forever, and hopefully this would be nice to self-publish one day. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
